Industrial Engineering Lead

• Managing and motivating IE (Industrial Engineering) team. Leading engineers by delegating the work load with the most functional and efficient way under Manufacturing Solutions & Innovation organization.

Taking the lead for introducing new technologies for new gigafactory design to achieve less head count, fast ramp-up and compact layout with sub-goals as efficiency, productivity and safety. Managing and overseeing project management for the Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Teams.

Senior Industrial Engineer

• Leading the logistics project engineering tasks for the new giga factory plant: Design review, Manufacturing coordination, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), installation and commissioning tasks, validation, and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests).
• Improving the factory with process improvement projects after hardware installation. Reducing footprint, labor and scrap costs, while increasing machine availability and utilization.
• Defining requirements and specifications for plant engineering simulation studies.
• Defining Ergonomics design requirements for manual work stations and in-process machine designs. Executing the on-site auditions by building a systematical structure for a fast-pased environment.

• Leading the topics related to industrial automation system/machines:
– ASRS : (Automatic storage and retrieval system),
– Stacker cranes, Automatic lifters,
– Automated conveying system,
– AGV (automatic guided vehicles) or RGV (rail guided vehicles),
– 3-axis gantries (Pick and Place robots/machines),
– Automatic packaging/grading/inspection machines.

• Acting as internal logistics PMO:
– Coordinating the risk management topics of entire logistics process team.
– Introducing new technologies for new gigafactory design to achieve less head count, fast ramp-up and compact layout.

• Troubleshooting activities:
– Saved 600 K€ cost by applying a project with Design-to-Cost & Design-to-Quality approach in formation area.

Local Technical Leader

• Responsible for special processes, heat treatment and liquid surface coating of parts in gear box of manual transmission.
• Responsible for turning and honing operations of differencial case and final assembly of two parts (crown gear, differencial case) at gear box.
• Led the proficiency and efficiency of 23 different machines (turning, batch furnace, tempering, shot peening, sand blasting, phosphating) at workshop.
• Responsible engineer of GTC (Gear Technical Center) and ensuring all physical properties of gears after machining operations, is provided by the final assembly specifications of related gear box.
• Led the PFMEA, DFMEA and responsible of final layout of machinery in order to increase the line efficiency.
• Preparation the technical specifications and work instructions for blue-collar employees.
• Design and implementation of conveyors, jig, fixtures, trolleys.
• Daily tracking the KPIs such as OEE, tooling cost, maintenance cost.
• Creating the continuous improvement projects on reliability and profitability of entire process.
